It's actually the case that the WD22TB4 is not just visually similar to the WD19 series, everything outside of the upgrade module at one end of the WD22TB4 is actually identical hardware to the WD19. Right away, this sounds intriguing, because although the dock has a captive cable, Dell's come up with a way to replace the captive cable in case of damage. This can be swapped out for a module with either one or two USB-C cables for hooking the dock up to your computer. There is a detachable module at the end that houses two Thunderbolt 4 ports.
